Play in Pink Tournament – August 2018

Play in Pink Tournament – 12th August 2018
DPTC hosted a Play in Pink Tournament to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research on Sunday 12th August, 2018.
Play took place in beautiful, sunny conditions and players were rewarded afterwards with strawberries and cream at the cabin.  All players and many spectators wore pink in support of such a worthy cause.
Miriam Hand from Breast Cancer Research spoke to the group outlining current treatment improvements in the fight against breast cancer. These improvements are all thanks to research carried out based on donations and fundraising.
Our club raised a whopping €810.  Well done all involved.
